Poolsuite is a leisure radio disguised as a late-eighties operating system: one fixed screen, no page scroll, and a Flamingo Desktop #f6d5d5 wallpaper holding a menu bar, a bottom dock and draggable Window Cream #f9f0e9 applications. Everything is drawn with 1px Ink #000000 outlines, 2–6px corners and hard inset bevels, then softened by one long drop shadow under each window. Pixolde, ChiKareGo2, Everyday and Ishmeria are bitmap faces held at their native 16px and 10px, so the interface reads as pixels rather than type. Colour comes from dithered TV footage, film photography, Pool Cyan #afe2e5 controls and a Legal Pad #faf4c6 calendar. ITC Garamond appears only when a story opens, as a sudden editorial voice inside the machine.

Poolsuite

Brand1

  • The full-screen wallpaper and secondary button fill — the pink that makes the whole operating system read as a holiday

Accent4

  • Active play button, Get magic link and Work with us actions — one cool chlorine note against the warm cream chrome

  • Event Calendar window fill and every scrollbar thumb — a stationery yellow that marks one application as paper

  • The segmented cells of the boot-screen progress bar, seen only while the system starts up

  • The small pulsing dot beside the live channel title, the only red in the interface chrome

Neutrals8

  • Every outline, all body text, the palm menu square, the TV status strip and the active filter tab

  • Application window chrome, menu bar tabs, the dock and the channel dropdown — the system colour

  • Lit icon fills inside the chrome, matching the lighter edge of the raised window parts

  • Inset content wells inside windows: the now-playing panel, feeds, perks list and form fields

  • The plain page behind the boot splash, before the pink wallpaper loads in

  • The small gray highlight behind mixtape file names in the Mixtapes window grid

  • Subscribe to stay updated button in the Event Calendar, and other inactive system keys

  • The LIVE tag behind the channel name, composited from translucent warm gray at 90% opacity
