Tengile MalaMala Collection is a sand-canvas safari site that opens on a full-screen aerial river film with 133px uppercase PP Fragment capitals set at weight 220. Below a beadwork-like olive, gold and teal stripe, the page settles into Sand Canvas #f5eee9 with Thicket Ink #373f1d text and Bushveld Olive #5c6e21 reserved for long statement paragraphs, the pull quote and the full-width footer. The serif is used only in hairline weights 220 and 310, so even 53px statements feel whispered, while Inter 14px uppercase labels and 16px body copy carry the practical layer. Square-cornered photographs, tiny 2px label chips paired with a separate arrow chip, and zero shadows keep it quiet, editorial and expensive.

Tengile MalaMala Collection

Brand1

  • Footer field, long statement paragraphs and the pull quote — a dry-season olive that ties type to the bush rather than to a tech palette

Accent2

  • Short dashes inside the beadwork stripe under the hero — a mustard tick that only appears as pattern, never as text or fill

  • Thin base line of the beadwork stripe, sitting beneath the olive band as a second earthy tone

Neutrals7

  • Page background for every editorial section, plus nav labels and footer links on dark photography and olive

  • Body copy, eyebrows, 32px statements and button labels — a green-black that keeps text inside the olive family

  • Label-button and arrow-chip fills on the sand canvas, image placeholders, and legal links in the footer

  • Hero headline and lede on film, and the label-button chips placed over photography

  • Muted publication name in the pull-quote attribution line

  • Bottom-weighted video scrim (transparent 45% to black) that keeps Bone type legible over footage

  • Agency credit links and small icon fills in the footer bottom row
